Since then the group has grown to become the leading international health club operator, with clubs across four continents in eight countries (South Africa, UK, Italy, Australia, Namibia, Botswana, Thailand and Singapore), serving over 1.2 million members worldwide.

There are three unique formats: high-end Collection clubs, all-encompassing Life Centres and in South Africa, the fitness-only Virgin Active RED.
